Matthew is a 17-year old high school student from Springfield, VT.  Matthew Races in the NASCAR weekly racing series. When he is not studying or playing soccer (which keeps him in shape), the focus is on the upcoming race. Matthew and his dad are very competitive and racing, or motor oil, is in their blood. Matthew currently races number 74w Late Model in the Late model sportsman division. He has won many trophies including the 2018 National Champion in the AKRA Series. Matthew is the 2021 Late model sportsman rookie of the year. His dad, Matthew (Matt) Winter Sr., is a hard working native New Englander. Born in NH, his “straight talk” approach motivates and inspires Matthew.
